TBS Hydrosizer

TBS Hydrosizer

An MEP produced, hindered settling classifier, using upward current water and mineral to create a column of teeter in the vessel. The density in the machine is constantly monitored and automatically controlled.

Hydrocyclone

Hydrocyclone

Cyclones use centrifugal force to separate solids from liquid or to classify coarser or greater mass solids from finer or lesser mass solids. This centrifugal action effectively impacts a force to the solid particles many hundred times greater than gravity.

MEP Radial Manifold

MEP Cyclones are often fitted to radial manifolds which are designed to evenly distribute the feed and collect the overflow and underflow streams from the cyclones.

The MEP Mutli-Spigot Hydrosizer is a multi-celled hindered
selling classifier. Units with up to 10 cells have been supplied for
numerous applications. With an adjustable, evenly distributed flow of upward current water.

MEP offer a wide range of Sieve Bends for use in many processes and industries. They are used in high capacity, wet screening applications to classify and dewater different forms of mineral.

Thickeners and Clarifiers

Thickeners & Clarifiers

MEP Thickeners are designed to receive effluent water containing solids resulting from a mineral process operation and in conjunction with chemical flocculants, concentrates this into a thicker pulp.

MEP PMU

Polymer Make-Up Unit

The PMU effectively introduces a metered quantity of neat polymer into a flow of make-up water. This is mixed into a homogeneous solution and transferred to the storage tank ready for addition into the process.

MEP Hydrolig

Hydrolig

The MEP Hydrolig is a hindered settling classifier based on the principles of the TBS Hydrosizer, however it has been adapted to handle materials of up to 40 mm in size. It is ideally suited to remove lightweight contaminates.

Dewatering Screens

Pozzato dewatering screens include: machines starting with 1.4m2 of screening area up to 7.6m2. Pozzato dewatering screens are assembled of thick steel plates and properly reinforced at critical points.

The Pozzato Log Washer has been designed for treatment of aggregates with a maximum size of between 80 – 100 mm containing clay or soil and a certain percentage of ﬁnes. MEP are the UK Supplier for Pozzato Products.

Vibrating Screens

The range of Pozzato machines include vibrating dry screens and vibrating rinsing screens. Inclined vibrating screens are equipped with two, three or four decks, starting with the smallest screening area of 1.6m²per deck up to 14m²per deck.
