The MEP Polymer Make-Up Unit (PMU) effectively introduces a metered quantity of neat polymer into a flow of make-up water. This is mixed into a homogeneous solution and transferred to the storage tank ready for addition into the process that the unit is installed in.
- The solution can be adjusted between 0.3% and 1% concentration.
- The system is automatic with an operator only required to ensure the neat polymer is stocked in the polymer tank or IBC.
- The quantity of dosing pumps required is determined by the duty.
- Storage sheds can also be supplied to store the PMU and additional IBC’s.
